Antarctic Ice Marathon

Hi everyone,
Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I've completed two city marathons to date, but this is by far the biggest and toughest challenge I've ever taken on. The Antarctic Ice Marathon is the southernmost marathon on earth, taking place on November 20th 2013. I'm going to be greeted by sub-zero temperatures, katabatic winds, twenty-four hours of daylight and breathtaking views. I've been looking forward to this trip for over a year and I can't believe its almost upon me.
I'm always keen to raise money for charity where I can, and charities that help animals, wildlife and the environment are always my first choice. I’m supporting the RSPCA to help stop animal cruelty and neglect. Donating towards a specific appeal through the RSPCA is quick, easy and completely safe. Your details will be stored securely and once you donate your money will be sent directly to your chosen appeal as well as making sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. It's the best way to help animals in desperate need and donating this way also reduces costs as there's no middle man taking a cut. Donating this way also reduces costs for the RSPCA as there’s no middle man taking a cut.

The RSPCA needs our support to continue its good work. So why not help out by donating now?

Thank you again for taking the time to read my page. Wish me luck. XXXXX
Why am I doing this?
